2023 Portfolio Review Deadline Extended
The 2023 Uganda Press Photo Award Online Portfolio Review deadline has been extended to October 9th.
The review is an opportunity for African photographers working on the continent to talk to industry professionals and get fresh eyes on the projects they're working on, seek advice on technique, narrative and content, and get insight into how to market themselves and their work.
Some of this year's reviewers were also on the judging panel for this year’s competitions so photographers from East Africa who participated can seek critical advice on the entries submitted to the awards. However, beware! Not all of what you may hear will be flattering.
The review will take place over 2 days on October 27th & 28th, 2023. It will be conducted via Zoom between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm EAT.
