At fifty years of independence, Uganda now has close to thirty Universities, both Public and Private. It is at this stage where some futures are always born. Like any many Universities in Uganda, Uganda Christian University holds Guild elections annually. They are held in February, but its unique model is only three Anglican students can contest, after a rigorous vetting process. This year, three students: Emmanuel Wabwire, Moses Tumuheki and Nish Nicholas Kihangire ran for the guild presidency. I got covered campaign, as I followed Wabwire. He eventually emerged winner in the close contest between himf and Kihangire.
