July 17,2013: A Karamajong herdsboy carries a sick sheep as he looks after a herd of sheep from Latome Kraal in Napak district, Karamoja region. The Uganda People’s Defense Forces guard the kraal against rustlers, and owners collect their animals every morning for grazing and return them in the evening.

A portrait of Kazeeyi, who was diagnosed with cancer (Burkitt's lymphoma) at 1 year old. After numerous rounds of chemotherapy and radiation Kazeeyi is now 3 years old and thriving.
