UGANDA'S FAVOURITE PHOTOJOURNALIST

WELCOME

Over the last 10 years of running the Uganda Press Photo Award we've seen a lot of photojournalism and newfound understanding of the role and value of the field and the people who do this work. Continuing with our tradition of spotlighting some of the best in the field, we reached out to some industry professionals to nominate photojournalists they feel have been the most influential over the decade. We were fortunate to get responses from some, including Daniel Kalinaki, Peter G Mwesige, Jimmy Adriko, Annette Ssebba and Edward Echwalu.

Now, to commemorate 10 year's of UPPA, we're putting it to you to decide which of the nominated photojournalists have documented work that has resonated the most with you. All have left a mark with but there can only be one favourite

How this will work!

YOU ARE THE JUDGE!!

You have seen some of their work over the years but we have also linked up to more of their work. As our judges, we urge you to take another look and after review, YOU get to vote for which of them you like best.

Whoever ranks as 'Uganda's Favourite Photojournalist' will be announced on November 20th, 2021 and will take home a Canon EOS RP with a 24 - 105 kit.
